Reiki 'Level One' Course
The first degree Reiki ‘level one’ course teaches the basic theory and practice of Reiki. Students learn about the history of Usui Reiki, self healing techniques, providing Reiki to others, and practicing intuitive Reiki.
On completing the level one course, the student will be attuned to Reiki and be able to provide a Reiki treatment on him or herself, and to family, friends, animals, and on plants. The course duration is typically 7 hours.
The course agenda covers:
- History of Reiki
- Reiki ’shodan’ attunement
- Healing procedures and how to perform a Reiki treatment
- The body’s energy centres, ‘chakras’
- A supervised self-healing session
- Experience giving and receiving Reiki
- Discussion and reflection on your Reiki experiences

Course Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites or special requirements to attend this course. Anyone with an interest is welcome to attend.
Next Steps
